We help teams work better together
In a lot of organisations we saw the same thing happen. A team spends a day together, has a good conversation, and makes agreements everyone stands behind. A few weeks later, daily practice takes over again. Not because people did not mean it, but because different behaviour needs attention and support, precisely at the moments when it matters. That is what Fruitful is for.
What we believe
We believe an agreement only has force when the team has made it itself. That sounds obvious, and in practice it rarely is. Most rules of behaviour in organisations were thought up somewhere else and then shared. They hang on the wall, and nobody really feels bound by them.
We know a great deal about what makes collaboration stronger, but every team has its own context, patterns and challenges. So in a session we are in the room, but not at the table. The team writes for itself. We make sure the conversation goes the right way, and that what comes out of it does not disappear.
People first, software alongside
We could have set Fruitful up as a software company. Sell a platform, scale it, and leave the customer to it. Not doing that is a deliberate choice. Behaviour does not change because a tool arrives. That takes people who see what is happening, guide the conversation, and help break patterns.
At the same time, guidance on its own is not enough. Most development happens on the days when no team coach is there. So we combine personal guidance with technology that makes agreements and insights available in daily work. Not people or software. It is the combination that makes development last.
